Generate Your First Image
Section titled “Generate Your First Image”Create your first AI-generated image in just a few steps.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- Completed Installation Guide
- ImageBot running locally or deployed to production
- Valid user account
Step 1: Access the Application
Section titled “Step 1: Access the Application”Navigate to ImageBot:
- Local: http://localhost:4321
- Production: https://your-domain.pages.dev
Step 2: Create an Account
Section titled “Step 2: Create an Account”If you haven’t already:
- Click Register in the navigation
- Fill in your details:
- Email address
- Password (minimum 8 characters)
- Display name
- Click Create Account
- You’ll be automatically logged in
Step 3: Navigate to Generation Panel
Section titled “Step 3: Navigate to Generation Panel”The Generation Panel is the main view when you log in. If you’re on a different view:
- Click Generate in the navigation menu
- You’ll see the generation form
Step 4: Choose Your AI Model
Section titled “Step 4: Choose Your AI Model”Select a model from the dropdown:
Recommended for Beginners:
- Flux Schnell - Ultra-fast, high quality (⚡ Fastest)
- Stable Diffusion XL - Industry standard
- DreamShaper - Artistic style
Model Details: Each model has different characteristics:
- Speed: How fast it generates
- Quality: Output image quality
- Style: Artistic interpretation
- Cost: Credits per image
Step 5: Write Your Prompt
Section titled “Step 5: Write Your Prompt”A good prompt clearly describes what you want to see:

Section titled “Prompt Tips”✅ Do:
- Be specific about subject, style, lighting, mood
- Use descriptive adjectives (vibrant, serene, dramatic)
- Specify art style if desired (photorealistic, watercolor, digital art)
- Mention camera angles or perspectives
- Include atmosphere and mood
❌ Don’t:
- Use vague descriptions (“something cool”)
- Include contradictory elements
- Use negative language (say what you want, not what you don’t)
- Expect perfect results first try - iterate!
Step 6: Customize Parameters (Optional)
Section titled “Step 6: Customize Parameters (Optional)”Click Advanced Settings to fine-tune:
Image Size
Section titled “Image Size”- 256x256 - Fast, preview quality
- 512x512 - Standard quality
- 1024x1024 - High quality (recommended)
Guidance Scale (7.5 default)
Section titled “Guidance Scale (7.5 default)”- Lower (3-5): More creative, less adherence to prompt
- Medium (7-8): Balanced
- Higher (9-15): Strict prompt following
Number of Steps
Section titled “Number of Steps”- 4 steps: Ultra-fast (Flux Schnell)
- 20-30 steps: Standard quality
- 50+ steps: Maximum quality (slower)
Step 7: Generate Your Image
Section titled “Step 7: Generate Your Image”- Click the Generate Image button
- Watch the progress indicator
- Wait 5-15 seconds (varies by model)
- Your image appears in the preview area
What If It Fails?
Section titled “What If It Fails?”If generation fails:
- Check your internet connection
- Verify Worker is running (
npm run worker:dev) - Check browser console for errors
- Try a simpler prompt
- Try a different model
Step 8: Review Your Image
Section titled “Step 8: Review Your Image”Once generated, you can:
View Details
Section titled “View Details”Click the image to open the detail modal showing:
- Full-size image
- Prompt used
- Model name
- Generation timestamp
- Cost (if applicable)
Download
Section titled “Download”- Click Download button
- Image saves as PNG
- Filename:
imagebot-{id}.png
Add to Collection
Section titled “Add to Collection”- Click Add to Collection
- Select existing collection or create new one
- Organize your images by project
- Click Share button (if in a team)
- Share with team members
- Set permissions (view/edit)
Step 9: Iterate and Improve
Section titled “Step 9: Iterate and Improve”Your first image might not be perfect. Try:
Refine Your Prompt

Use AI Prompt Copilot
Section titled “Use AI Prompt Copilot”- Click Enhance Prompt button
- AI suggests improvements
- Review enhanced prompt
- Generate with improved prompt
Adjust Parameters
Section titled “Adjust Parameters”- Increase steps for more detail
- Adjust guidance scale for creativity
- Try different image sizes
Step 10: Organize Your Work
Section titled “Step 10: Organize Your Work”Create Your First Collection
Section titled “Create Your First Collection”- Navigate to Collections view
- Click Create Collection
- Name it (e.g., “My First Images”)
- Add description (optional)
- Click Create
Add Images to Collection
Section titled “Add Images to Collection”- Go back to Gallery view
- Select images (checkbox appears on hover)
- Click Bulk Actions → Add to Collection
- Select your collection
- Click Add
